Everything you need to keep sites online
Pingwren is a focused tool: it watches your websites and tells you when something needs your attention.
Uptime checks
- HTTP and HTTPS checks every 5, 10 or 30 minutes on Free, and every minute on Pro and Team.
- Expected status code on every plan, plus keyword matching on Pro and Team, so a broken page that still returns a response is caught.
- A failure is confirmed on two consecutive checks before an incident opens.
- Response time is recorded for every check.
SSL certificate monitoring
- Certificates on HTTPS monitors are read automatically several times a day.
- One warning when a certificate is 14 days or less from expiry, and again if a renewed certificate later approaches expiry.
Alerts
Alerts are sent only to the account owner, about the websites in their own account:
- Downtime and recovery alerts when an incident opens and when it closes.
- SSL certificate expiry warnings.
- Account and billing notices, such as a plan change or a failed payment.
Email alerts are on by default on every plan. Text message alerts are included with Pro and Team; they are optional, off by default, and enabled per alert type in Settings after you agree to the SMS Terms. Pingwren never sends marketing or promotional text messages.
Incidents and history
- Incident timeline with start, end, duration and cause.
- 24 hours of history on Free; up to 90 days on Pro and Team.
Analytics (Pro and Team)
- Daily uptime heatmap per site for 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Incident count, total downtime and mean time to recover.
- p50, p95 and p99 response times.
- Details for every check: time to first byte, page size, redirects and final URL.
- CSV export of raw check data.
Public status page
Choose which monitors appear and publish a status page at your own Pingwren link. Status pages are private until you publish them.
